Eleni is a Creative Producer, living and working on Gadigal land, Warrane/Sydney, Australia. Eleni has over 12 years of experience working in arts public programs, research development, and community engagement. Her practice is centred around community collaboration, ancestral re-collection and the local. Eleni grew up between Cyprus and Australia and her pappou’s kreopoleio (butchery) in Nicosia was a place of formative culinary production and memory for her.

Through kafe as poume, Eleni reimagines social ritual in an informal and neighbourhood context. Eleni holds a Masters of Applied Anthropology from Macquarie University.

Eleni has been awarded a number of arts and cultural residencies and grants. In 2015 she was the recipient of Marrickville Council's Sister Cities International Exchange Program where she undertook a month long residency in Kos, Greece. In 2018, as part of New Moon Collective, Eleni was awarded a $20,000 Place Making Grant for the Yanada Room in Lewisham. In 2019, Eleni received a Create NSW professional development grant for a residency in Crete. More recently Eleni was an artist in Residence in Thirning Villa, Ashfield, Sydney from 2019-2021.
