Kafe As Poume at the Community & Refugee Welcome Centre,

I am so excited to share with you that I am curating a series of workshops at the Community and Refugee Welcome Centre in Lilyfield as part of Inner West Festival 2018. I am collaborating with an absolute dream team of talented women including Paula do Prado, Rosell’s Creatures, Akisiew and Ladan Haghighat to bring you free workshops inside my Kafe As Poume kitchen installation. And coffee. Lots of Cypriot style coffee. More information to come in the next days, but mark the 21-24th of June in your diary.

Registrations for workshops open on Tuesday 22nd May at 9am.

Kafe As Poume is running in parallel to New Beginnings Fest: The Spirit of Welcome for Refugee Week 2018. Sunday the 24th will be a full-day public program of activities led by newly arrived artists. The day will feature an art exhibition, an artist talk, live performances, creative workshops and cuisine.
